To use this Power Grip Shrink Clamp, simply place it around the hose. It will shrink to fit the hose within the 2 – 1/2″ to 2 – 3/4″ outside diameter range. Make sure the nominal hose inside diameter is 2 – 1/4″. Since it has a dynamic tension, you don’t need to worry about re-tightening it. It’s great for all applications involving coolant hoses, including silicone ones. Just keep it clean and dry to maintain its performance. If you notice any signs of wear, it’s a good idea to replace the clamp to ensure proper sealing.
