To use the Imperial 72815 Power Grip Shrink Clamp, first make sure the hose’s nominal inside diameter is 1/4″, with a minimum outside diameter of 1/2″ and a maximum of 11/16″. It has a cross reference of SB15. This revolutionary clamp shrinks to fit and is great for all applications. It seals really well on all coolant hoses, including silicone ones. Just attach it as you would a regular clamp. Since it maintains a dynamic tension, you don’t need to worry about re – tightening it later.
