To use DOWSIL™ 790 Silicone Building Sealant, first, make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any dirt or debris. Cut the tip of the cartridge or sausage at a 45-degree angle for smooth application. Apply the sealant evenly along the joint, pressing it firmly into place. For larger areas, use a caulking gun for the cartridge or a dispenser for the sausage. Let it cure for the specified time (168 – 336 hours). Avoid applying in extreme weather conditions like heavy rain or high heat. Keep the sealant away from direct sunlight during curing. If you need to remove any excess, do it while it’s still tacky (within 60 minutes). Make sure to store it in a cool, dry place and use it within its shelf life of 360 days.
