Basic Aneroid Sphygmomanometer with Nylon Cuff, Large Adult, 13.5″ – 20″ cuff range, index and range markings, artery indicator mark, owner ID label, gauge holder, standard inflation bulb and air release valve. 1 year calibration. Latex-free.
To use this aneroid sphygmomanometer, wrap the nylon cuff around your upper arm. Make sure it’s at the same level as your heart. Press the inflation bulb to increase the pressure until you can’t feel your pulse. Then slowly release the pressure while watching the gauge. Note the number where the pulse starts to show again. This is your blood pressure. Remember to use it on a clean, dry arm. Don’t use it too tightly or too loosely. For maintenance, keep it in a dry place and avoid dropping it. If you notice any issues with the readings or the device itself, contact the manufacturer or a professional for help. Also, don’t forget to check the calibration every year to ensure accurate results.
