To use this adapter, first identify the 1/2″ cross link polyethylene Pex tubing and the 1/2″ male iron pipe thread pipe end or fitting you want to connect. Insert the 1/2″ barb end of the adapter into the Pex tubing. Then, you can choose to use TV #608-933 cinch clamps & TV #608-743 cinch tool, or copper crimp rings & crimp tool to secure the connection. Make sure to test it to over 100 PSI right away. Just keep in mind that this product meets certain standards for lead-free and potable water use. There’s no special maintenance required other than keeping it clean and dry when not in use.
