Cable Entry Kit, 2 Grommets 0.31″ and 0.46″ Diameter

Complete the build-out of your Optical Terminal Enclosure by adding a cable entrance location with this easy-to-install accessory.

The Cable Entry Kit provides protection for cables entering the enclosure with the included strain relief bracket. The included grommet inserts then secures the fit, accommodating cables in diameters of either .31″ or .46″. Also included are (2) hose clamps. With these different sizes, you will be able to ensure a water-tight fit to protect the components inside your enclosure from harmful moisture.

This Kit is for 3/4″ NPT single port applications only.

To use this cable entry kit, first, make sure you have a 3/4″ NPT single port application as it’s designed specifically for that. Insert the strain relief bracket onto the 3/4″ NPT fitting. Then, place the appropriate grommet insert (either the 0.31″ or 0.46″ diameter one depending on your cable size) into the opening. Pass your cable through the grommet and use the hose clamps to secure the connection. Make sure everything is tightened properly to ensure a water – tight seal. Note that this kit is only for the specified 3/4″ NPT single port use. For maintenance, regularly check the tightness of the hose clamps and the condition of the grommets. If the grommets show signs of wear, replace them to maintain the protection of your cables and enclosure components.
