• 3M Adhesion Promoter 86A is a liquid “primer” designed to be used with 3M Polyurethane Protective Tapes and Boots and other acrylic adhesives to enhance initial adhesion in demanding situations.
• 3M 86A promoter is designed to promote faster initial adhesion to certain types of surfaces, such as polyurethane paint, epoxy primers, or epoxy composites. It is not intended for use where the acrylic adhesive would be in direct contact with aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, steel, or glass.
• Pre-saturated wipes designed for use with 3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tape to enhance initial adhesion in demanding situations

How to use: These pre-saturated wipes are easy to use. Just take a wipe and apply it to the surface where you’ll be using the 3M Polyurethane Protective Tape. This helps the tape stick better right from the start. Precautions: Don’t use it when the acrylic adhesive will be in direct contact with aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, steel, or glass. Maintenance: Keep the wipes in a cool, dry place to maintain their effectiveness. If not using right away, store them properly to ensure they work well when you need them.
